Performance Order
Rule 16.10 - The order of performance will be determined by random draw for classes of six or less. For classes with seven or more units, the approved MEPA method of seeding will be used. Refer to the Championship Prelim Seeding Procedures at the end of the MEPA manual for an explanation of seeding.

Timing Line

Timing Line: Vertical. From the perspective of the audience, groups will enter from the back left and exit to the back right.


Critique is available only for groups attending WGI World Championships. Critique will take place during retreat and sign ups are done via CompetitionSuite.

Color Guard Music Upload

Directors may upload their performance music in a MP3 or WAV file via CompetitionSuite. Using this system is not required and groups can use their own CD or sound device if desired. Instructions on uploading music. CompetitionSuite uploads will shut down on at 11pm EST on the Wednesday prior to the event.

Groups qualifying for prelims (prelims is restricted to the two largest classes) will be identified and contacted in early January.

Tentative schedules with times by class will be published approximately 3 weeks prior to the event. A final schedule cannot be created until the conclusion of the regular competition season and will be published approximately one week prior to the event.
